Krazy Daze: Calling All Candles!

In conjunction with Krazy Daze in Zimmerman, I am issuing a request for your candles! That's right, I'm hosting a Scentsy Swap over the 2-day event, held across the street from Nelson Nursery in their parking lot, which will also feature a variety of other home-based businesses.

Saturday (beginning at 9), I will feature a traditional information booth, where you can pick up a catalog, place an order or schedule a party! Come back Sunday from 10-1 with your candles to swap! (Please note I will take items Saturday as well.) I'll be accepting traditional wick candles (pillars, tapers, votives, jar candles, etc.) as well as plug-in air fresheners (such as Glade, AirWick, etc.). For every pound of product turned in, you will receive $1 credit toward your Scentsy purchase!

Vouchers will be given at the event, to be redeemed later that day at an Open House in my home, Sunday from 3-8 pm. Customers will be able to choose from a variety of products on hand (vouchers can not be redeemed on orders to be placed).

Scentsy: A Family Business!

Oh, how we LOVE Scentsy! My children are my biggest Scentsy enthusiasts...some examples:

When I started the business, upon hearing the doorbell, my then 3-year-old daughter would run to the door & bring in (or attempt to bring in) any package awaiting.

Now, when the UPS man arrives at our door, my 3-year-old son shouts, "Scentsy" and runs to the door! (In fact, whenever he calls our UPS man the "Scentsy Man".)

My children love the party testers -- they open & smell them, stack them, etc. They do the same with the bars, with Adelaide stacking them by color.

Labels: both Adelaide & Rusty are so helpful in adhering labels to products, catalogs, etc. Adelaide also helps with stamping my order forms.

Upon wearing a new dress, Adelaide asks, "is that your Scentsy dress?" And, with a new Scentsy top (that doesn't feature the typical Scentsy logo), she says, "I love your Scentsy shirt."

Transition Time! The kids both help me put the caps on my mini testers for all nine of my basket kits! See Rusty above!

Fall Open House Postponed!

I have decided to postpone the Fall/Winter Scentsy Product Launch Open House until later in the month. Check back often for the exact date & details!

For those of you who CAN'T WAIT to smell the new scents, there's plenty of time to schedule your own party! Contact me right away to reserve your date or basket kit (I will have new kits available on the 1st)!

Why the delay? By hosting my Fall Open House later in the month, my guests will have some advantages:
1) More product to see, both in person, and with the release of our Holiday Collection on September 15!
2) SALES! I'll be offering some great savings on discontinued products and overstock items!
3) HOSTS! I can reserve the first of the month for my hosts, who are the basis of my business! Schedule a party September 1st-6th (yes, even Labor Day!), and you will receive a special gift!

Open House Winners!

Congratulations to Kim Koecheler and Cindy Hadley, who each won a $100 Shopping Spree in my Scentsy Space! Both Kim and Cindy attended my recent Open Bar Open House, where they were entered into the drawing on two separate days. Coincidentally, both ladies were the first to arrive and had the most entries on each day. Congratulations, Cindy & Kim!

Open Bar Scentsy Party!

That's right, I'm hosting an Open Bar for this one...we'll all be opening bars of our returning Scentsy fragrances to smell their amazing scents! I'll have all twenty scents on hand; you're bound to fall in love with one...I'm already counting the days until Mysterious is back! And I can't wait to smell some of the others that are unfamiliar to me!

It's sure to be a fun experience and I don't want you to miss it! The Open Bar Open House will be held both Sunday, July 25 from 2-5 pm and Monday, July 26 from 5-8 pm.
